SUM is the student newspaper by and for students at Malmö University. It began as Mahskara but changed its name in 2018. The newspaper is part of the Student Union’s student life and is produced by dedicated students.
Each issue has a new theme and features everything from reports on student life and interviews with cultural figures to quizzes and information from the Student Union.

Publication
SUM is published twice a year (once during the fall semester and once during the spring semester). Approximately 600 copies are printed and distributed in print form to the university’s faculties and the Student Union Building. The magazine is also available online as a PDF for those who prefer to read it digitally.
