Join us at Insparken

Welcome to all new students to Malmö University and to this year’s Inspark! For you who are a new student, we offer a packed Inspark with fun activities every day from 3rd to 15 of September. Four different teams, based on the university’s faculties, will compete against each other in activities such as city walks, soap football and spex. No registration is required, but come to us and pick up a free inspark wristband.

Are you a K3 student? Join the Union and the ArtCom section and get engaged in student life! Let’s meet and be creative together with activities, coffee breaks and other artistic events. Are arts and humanities your thing? Join our board! Elections will take place on Tuesday, September 17 at 17.00 in room NI:A0311. For more info follow @K3artcom on Instagram.

Nordisk Panorama Film Festival with UF

On September 23 at 18:00 at Biograf Panora, the 35th edition of the Nordisk Panorama Film Festival will host a screening of the documentary “Belonging”, followed by a Q&A session. The screening will be preceded by a free panel discussion (at 17:15) with the filmmakers, actors and representatives from the Raoul Wallenberg Institute. Free for UF members. 42 SEK for non-members. Limited number of seats (first come, first served)! Register by scanning the QR code.

One last Inspark at the pub!

We at Festmesteriet are still actively looking for a new pub and will therefore not have any events or Monday meetings at the moment. For more information about our events and our association, check out our social media.

Welcome to the new Kølsvinet

This summer, we said goodbye to our beloved student union building, which has been faithful to us for so many years. But do not despair. We have a new location for our dear Kølsvinet, although much smaller. You will find our new location at Neptunigatan 20 (the small house opposite Niagara). You are welcome to come in for a cup of coffee (free for all union members) and hang out with your fellow students.

How about free coffee every day? That’s one of the many benefits of becoming a member of the Student Union Malmö. You can easily become a member at malmostudenter.se or visit our reception. It’s only cost 99 SEK/semester or 198 for a whole academic year.

Do you want to be a part of shaping the future of the University and the Union? Then FORUM is the place for you! Here you get the chance to make a real impact by becoming a student representative in the university’s various decision-making and preparatory bodies at both faculty and central level. As a student representative, you’ll not only have the opportunity to influence and improve – you’ll also gain valuable experience that will stand out on your CV. You’ll be a voice for your classmates, making sure their education and study time is the best it can be!

Union’s Literature scholarship – win 500 SEK 

As a member of the Student Union you have the opportunity to apply for the Student Union Literature Scholarship. A grant of 500 SEK is given to three students when the wallet is thin, and the books of the semester have to be purchased. To apply, send a motivation of up to 100 words to inforum@malmostudenter.se. The last day to apply is September 29.
