Every semester, the Student Union organizes Local Student Council, an important meeting place where students, class representatives and course representatives from all over the university gather. Here, you as a student have the opportunity to meet other committed students, participate in discussions and express your opinions on everything related to the quality of education at Malmö University.

The Local Student Council is a forum where you can directly contribute to improving your education. It is not just a place for discussion, but a platform to influence decisions taken at different levels within the university. The Student Union Malmö has a strong mandate to represent students, and through participation in the student councils you contribute to highlighting issues related to the study environment, teaching and other aspects of university life.

Through its representation in various management meetings and decision-making bodies within Malmö University, the Student Union ensures that students’ voices are not only heard but also respected and taken into account. From each student council, views are collected, analyzed and presented in relevant university forums, providing a concrete opportunity to bring about change.

Participating in a Local Student Council is both a way to influence your education and a chance to network with other students within the University. Whether your views on your education are big or small, everyone is welcome to join and contribute to the discussions.
