Students and staff uniting: a kick-off for a more climate conscious university

Students and staff are welcomed to join in the first ever Climate Day at Malmö University! Swap clothes at the Orkanen library, hand in old tech at Niagara, discuss sustainability with your teachers at an afterwork, listen to interesting presentations by Malmö University Alumni, and much more! Have a look at the official programme here to see what interests you, with activities ranging from climate anxiety discussions to an afterwork at Niagara.

We hope that together we can fill the day and evening with activities and encourage you to see this as an opportunity to focus on climate change, our global challenge, together with teachers and fellow students. The university aim to have this day as a starting point for a long-term commitment to address issues around climate change in our organisational activities, education, research, and outreach.

By the way, don’t miss the lunch lecture with Alumni Changemakers already next week, 23-25 May. The lectures are held in English. See program and register at: https://student.mau.se/kalender/mot-vara-alumni-change-agents/
